How to Prepare:
Fill your gourd or cup about three-quarters full with yerba mate. Tilt it slightly and pour a little warm water to moisten the leaves. Insert a bombilla (metal straw) and continue adding hot water (around 70–80 °C) for repeated infusions.
It can also be prepared as a tea by steeping the leaves for a few minutes and straining before drinking.
