How to Prepare:
Fill your gourd or cup about three-quarters full with yerba mate. Tilt it to one side and pour a little warm water to moisten the leaves. Insert your bombilla (metal straw) and add hot water (70–80 °C). Refill as many times as you like — each infusion keeps its flavour.
It can also be prepared like tea: steep the leaves for a few minutes and strain before drinking.
